Get up earlier than usual this morning
Then receive a message from brother said grandpa may leave this world today
A very bad news
Book a ticket to home
Then get a call telling me grandpa is stable
Change ticket to Saturday
Half day passes
Go have lunch with colleague later than usual
Just finish ordering the meal
Then brother tell me grandpa is gone
Call mom and book another ticket
Run to home pack my bag then run to railway station
Get on the train with empty stomach
Find the neighbor next to my bed is a monk
I think it’s a sign
May god sends his disciple to take care of grandpa

Now I’m on the train writing this
Very sad
Want to cry but have no tears
Don’t know how to react
Don’t even know how to drown my sorrows
Just write down this to remind me never forget this day
